Reporting a wrong number change

If PURA Numbers inserted the wrong digits, the fastest route is inside the app: Settings → Report a wrong number change. That report sends the operator block only — never the number, and never a contact — which is enough for us to fix the block for everybody.

Restore the affected run from the History tab first. Undo works without a connection, so it does not have to wait for us.

Checking whether something is really from us

PURA’s notice warns the public to expect impersonation during this migration. PURA Numbers will never ask you for a password, a PIN, a mobile-money code or an OTP, by email or by SMS, and it will never ask you to send your contacts anywhere. If a message claiming to be from PURA Numbers asks for any of those, it is not from us.

Facts about the numbering change itself are worth checking against the regulator’s own notice rather than against this site: PURA’s public notice.
